About

We are a small sewing business located in Brunswick, Ohio. We provide alteration services, sewing camps, and sewing classes to children and adults.

Meet the Seamstress! Kayla might be young, but her skills are on point. She began formal sewing lessons in 2014 and has been sewing ever since. She had the opportunity to do a sewing internship during her senior year in high school, which helped round out her sewing skills and what it takes to teach and assist in a classroom. She is knowledgeable with alterations and making clothes. She enjoys doing other projects as well. She is excited about this venture and is looking forward to working with you and giving back by passing on what she has learned.

More about Kayla as a person: She is a college student majoring in Worship Arts. She plays piano, guitar, and sings. She loves to read, and she loves kiddos!

The other half of this team is Cindy!

Cindy is Kayla's mom and business administrator! Cindy has been able to do small sewing projects since she was a child. You know, things like sewing a button on, fixing a seam. She always wanted to learn to sew but didn't have an opportunity to take a class, until her 30s. Taking a class as an adult was an amazing opportunity. Cindy will be the administrative side of the business, and will be teaching some of the classes. While she is not the seamstress Kayla is, she is a good teacher and life-long learner.

More about Cindy as a person: Cindy is a born-organizer, loves children, has a BA in Child and Family Development with a teaching license of B-K, and a Master's in Religious Education. She is a huge book nerd with her own book blog, and loves reviewing the books she reads.
