 Can I bring my sewing machine to class?

  • Yes! You are encouraged to bring your machine so you can learn on the one you use the most often. 

Can I take lessons if I don't have a machine at home?

  • Yes! This is a great time to figure out if this is something you want to pursue long term.

How long are your classes?

  • Classes are weekly (same day each week), 1-hour sessions. Camps are usually 2-hour sessions.

Will I have homework?

  • No. All projects are worked on and completed in class. 

Do you offer sibling discounts?

  • Yes, we do offer a small discount for siblings. 

Can I bring a drink to class?

  • Yes, you can bring water in a spill proof cup. (no other drinks allowed as spilled drinks might ruin the fabric or machines)

Are you classes mainly for children?

  • No, we offer adult classes as well. If you don't see a day/time that works for you, please suggest a better time, we will accommodate you if at all possible

How do you work make-up classes?

  • We are happy to work with you to make-up classes you miss. If you know when you sign-up for the classes what days you will be gone list them in the special comments section and we will work out a schedule that works for you.

Do you do trial classes?

  • Technically, no. However, if your child would like to attend a camp, or just one class to see if that is something they would like to continue, we are happy to accommodate you, please just let us know.

Will you offer crochet classes?

  • Yes! We will offer a beginning crochet class. Right now we only have a time slot for adults because I don't know when to put a child class. Please suggest days/times you would like to do a crochet class and we will do our best to find a time that works.

Why are the camp prices different?

  • We charge $60 for the camps that require more materials, usually something that is stuffed.

Why do you charge a registration fee?

  • To reserve your spot in class (we have limited spots for each class).
  • To help with administrative costs (like patterns/binders/etc.,)
  • To help with overhead costs (sewing machines, thread, bobbins, etc)

I don't see a class that I want, what should I do?

  • Suggest it! You can email us, send a private message of Facebook, contact us through this site.

I have more questions but don't see the answers here, what should I do?

  • Ask them! We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
